Sustainability Report
In the prepress/prep department, our chemistry output has been reduced due to a filmless workflow. In addition, our chemistry output is diluted to the equivalent of water and is not considered an environmental pollutant in our local waste water management system.
Thanks to our File Transfer Protocol (FTP) site and our newly acquired Rampage Remote Proofing system we have reduced the amount of paper required for proofing. Transportation costs and fuel consumption are also dramatically reduced by using these new proofing systems.
We are very proud of our silk screening capabilities here at Campbell Printing Company. Not only are the silk screen inks energy cured, but they also give off NO VOC's! Our carousel and stand alone silk screen presses work around the clock to bring our customers the very best in vivid, punchy color with an additional tactile component.
Very soon our offset presses will be converted to using soy-based inks only and alcohol free chemistry.
Campbell Printing is proud to be an FSC certified company. Campbell will be able to offer sustainable paper stock alternatives to clients who feel a moral responsibility to their environment.
In our quest to become a "greener" company we have found a film laminate (required application on many of our projects) that is completely biodegradeable!
We take our efforts yet one step further when it comes to utilizing of all of our paper products by recycling 100% of the waste, including chipboard.
Campbell Printing is on the cutting edge of technology and innovation when it comes to recycling finished products. We have developed a new line of architect folders that are completely recycleable! Not only that but we also have unique machinery and techniques allowing many programs to be returned to Campbell for reduction, reclaimation, and reuse.
From start to finish Campbell Printing Company approaches design with the environment as a prerequisite.
