Delivering Brand Consistency Under Pressure

Florida Tile came to Campbell with an urgent sample presentation box project that needed to move far faster than usual. The boxes had to ship two to three weeks sooner than Campbell’s standard lead time for this kind of sample box project, while the printed color still needed to closely match vibrant blue and orange tones previously produced by another printer.

This made the job challenging from the start. Color was central to the piece, and the schedule was compressed. Campbell refined the print internally until it met its own standards and delivered the boxes on time.

At a Glance

  • Customer: Florida Tile
  • Application: Sample Box Projects
  • Challenge: Closely match vibrant brand colors without designated PMS colors
  • Outcome: Delivered on time, followed by customer appreciation and a reorder

The Challenge

Florida Tile needed a presentation box that could hold closely to its established brand color while moving through production much faster than usual.

The color requirement alone would have made the job difficult. Campbell was asked to match vivid blue and orange tones that had previously been printed by another supplier, but without relying on designated PMS colors. That meant the color had to be developed and judged through careful internal review rather than by simply calling out a standard formula.

At the same time, the schedule was unusually tight. The project needed to ship two to three weeks faster than Campbell’s standard turnaround for this kind of sample box project. Color accuracy still had to hold, even with the shortened timeline.

The Solution

Campbell approached the project with close internal review and a high threshold for approval.

The team adjusted and evaluated the print color as many times as needed before releasing the boxes for assembly. Rather than settle for a result that was merely close, Campbell continued refining the print until it met the company’s own expectations for the piece.

That discipline mattered because the printed color would shape the customer’s first impression of the box. Once the print was approved, the project moved quickly through the remaining stages of production so the boxes could stay on schedule.

The Result

Florida Tile received the boxes on time, despite a timeline that was significantly shorter than normal for this type of work.

The finished piece met the customer’s expectations closely enough to earn appreciative feedback and a reorder. The project showed Campbell’s ability to stay attentive to brand consistency while still moving with urgency when timing matters.
